Hair Doctors Australia
Tracked revenue generated within the first 12 months
Booked procedures within the first 12 months
Hair Doctors Australia is a leading hair restoration clinic offering surgical and non-surgical treatment options across Sydney and Melbourne.
Before working with HTM, the clinic had partnered with generalist medical marketing agencies but was not seeing the consistency or quality of results it wanted.
As the Australian hair transplant market became increasingly competitive, HTM was brought in to rebuild the clinic’s patient acquisition strategy from the ground up. Rather than focusing solely on before-and-after images and lead volume, the goal was to generate demand, improve patient quality and give prospective patients a clear reason to choose Hair Doctors.
Plenty of Enquiries. Not Enough Patients.
Hair Doctors was not necessarily struggling to generate enquiries. The problem was that many prospective patients were still researching, comparing clinics on price or simply not ready to move forward.
The clinic’s marketing relied heavily on generic before-and-after content, which made it difficult to stand out in an increasingly crowded market.
There was also no structured patient journey to educate, qualify and nurture prospective patients before they spoke with the clinic.
Key Challenges
Good enquiry volume but inconsistent patient intent
Patients comparing clinics primarily on price
Generic creative with little differentiation
No structured education before consultations
Limited follow-up for patients who were not ready immediately
1
Education-First Content
Created educational campaigns that answered the questions patients were already asking about cost, procedures, recovery, graft numbers and treatment options.
2
Doctor-Led Authority
Put the doctors and clinical team at the centre of the marketing, shifting the message away from generic promotions and towards expertise, education and patient trust.
3
Patient Qualification Systems
Introduced structured forms, photo collection and qualification processes to help the clinic identify more suitable and serious candidates before consultations.
4
Automated Follow-Up
Built email and SMS nurture sequences that educated prospective patients, addressed common concerns and kept Hair Doctors front of mind throughout the decision-making process.
5
Landing Page Optimisation
Redesigned the consultation journey around trust, patient education, social proof and clear next steps rather than relying on a generic lead form.
More Educated Patients. More Booked Procedures.
By meeting patients earlier in their decision-making process and educating them before they attended a consultation, Hair Doctors began attracting more informed and higher-intent enquiries.
Rather than relying on patients who were ready to book immediately, the clinic now had a structured system for building trust, nurturing demand and guiding prospective patients towards the right treatment.
Within the first 12 months, the campaigns generated more than $1.2 million in tracked revenue and helped book over 146 hair restoration procedures.
